The wordmark was drawn in 2023. Three years later the shirt still carries it.
In November 2023 a set of typographic directions got pulled apart and laid next to each other on a studio wall. The only one that held up at a distance was a hand-drawn wordmark set in Brandon Grotesque Light at 0.26em tracking, left alone. It is still what the shirt is built around. The Always Tee is the capsule's commercial anchor — the piece somebody reaches for on a Wednesday morning and forgets they are wearing by lunch, until the person across from them asks what the label is. It is also the first SKU the wearer meets, and the piece that has to carry the brand's entire register without a second look required.
Material & print. AS Colour 5080 Heavy Faded Tee, 220 gsm combed ring-spun cotton, Obsidian Pearl ground measured at rgb(19,19,21). Chest wordmark printed at approximately 12.5 cm wide, ~8 cm below the collar seam, in Pearl ink rgb(232,228,223) — water-based pigment rather than plastisol, so the ink takes the fiber instead of sitting on top. Reversed R (RR) monogram at the nape in the same ink, 2.5 cm wide, centered 1 cm below the collar binding. Every piece in the capsule carries the same cream-on-black satin-weave "RÊVASSER / NEW YORK" label sewn into the inside neck — one label across five pieces, already in hand. Care: inside-out cold wash, tumble low, no bleach, no iron over print.
Fit & wear. Short-box block — a heavier, shorter body than a standard cotton tee, shoulder-drop controlled. Runs true to size. Size down for a cropped read at the hem, size up for a looser architectural shoulder. Because the block is built shorter than most wearers expect, ignore your usual fit instinct if ambiguous; the block is designed to sit at the hip, not past it. The weight of the 220 gsm cotton holds the shape after five washes rather than softening away from it.
